TODAY IS FRIDAY

You know that song by The Cure, "Friday, I'm in love"? I've had it stuck in my head all this week since Monday in the darkroom and I was really annoyed because it wasn't Friday yet. And all this STUFF was going on, like tryouts and me going insane and the consequences of me going insane, ie, me not remembering ANYTHING from the past major outline in US History, meaning my AP Essay in that class kind of didn't really happen until yesterday, when I pulled it together. But now it is Friday. And all is well.

I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Thursday doesn't even start
It's Friday, I'm in love

I don't care if Mondays black
Tuesday, Wednesday - heart attack
Thursday, never looking back
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday, you can hold your head
Tuesday, Wednesday stay in bed
Or Thursday - watch the walls instead
It's Friday, I'm in love

All other things aside: Not only am I extremely supernaturally fabulous in the way that I can totally do PRETTY MUCH all my homework without actually doing it at home, I am also great at convincing teachers that my homework is not late, it's just, uh, prettyful. Hey, we all have our talents.

I just want you guys to know that you are super super super awesome. And while you are going throughout this day just remember, after 3:15 today you are free to go home and sleep for two weeks. Not that you'd want to, because I know at least some of you are going laser tagging on Saturday, right?

After today, the pressure is off for a little while. Your only real worry will be if it snows or just stays cold and really windy (anyone else tired of being slapped in the face with cold for no purpose whatsoever? I mean, it's fine if there's snow out there, but if there's not, sorry, gotta go) or what to get your mommy for the holidays (I'm getting MY mommy scissors! Don't ask.)

The point? Today is beautiful, no matter what happens.

EDIT: And you know what, right after I posted this my brother Maxwell called and found out he got FREAKING PRINCETON!!!
