01. Post about something that made you happy today even if it's just a small thing.
02. Do this everyday for eight days without fail.
07/30/09: I am reading New Moon because I bought it used at Powell's a couple days ago just out of interest. I saw the Twilight movie and thought it was hilarious. Seriously I laughed more than I do at real comedies. But, you know, I have been in need of some Hot Guy action, and I thought to myself, hey, Robert Pattinson is going to be in New Moon, maybe I should read that so I know what to expect. I am now about two thirds of the way through. (page 375 of 563.)
Little did I know, I am a girl with raging teenage hormones. And as such have kind of fallen in love with Edward Cullen. I hate that Jacob black calls vampires bloodsuckers, because, I don't know if he realizes this, but it is HELLA RACIST. I mean I'm sure vamps same the share dislike of wolves (if anything, these books are very predictable) but still. Racism is bad. And it's pretty obvious Edward loves Bella, especially after Bella explains how Edward sucked the venom out of her when James bit her. I mean really Jacob, how thick can you get, to not realize how OTP their love is.
And can I just say, the whole hearing Edward's voice in her head thing, is so cool. I want a love like that, man. Slash a guy who can project his voice into my head, because I'm five hundred percent sure those are not hallucinations. Again, predictability at it's best.
I still hate Kristin Stewart, though. Like. A lot. Worst actress ever. And seriously, do not get me wrong, I am not under the impression these books are actually written well. They read like fanfiction. "Anxious brown eyes" my butt.
But still. Sometimes I like fanfiction. I want Ed and Bell-Bell to get back together so they can maik owt more though. Lulz. I did my loser thing and skipped to the back of the book to scan the preview for Eclipse. They get back together. Yay palefaced snogging.
And seriously. It's freaking Robert Pattinson. Purring and growling and roaring and such.
I am such a girl. Don't tell my RL friends. I'm going to have to break the news to Jessica Hillenbrand tomorrow night, since I tell her pretty much everything. I hope she doesn't lose respect for me.
I also don't want my friends who read Twilight to know, because, hello, we are supposed to be embarrassed about liking it. I do not want to trade fantasies with them. Period.
But really... relating to Bella Swan was not in the plan. Stupid Kristin Stewart.
I need more rob icons. I will make some. After I finish New Moon and am waiting for Eclipse to come in at the library. (I put a copy on hold. I am something like 252nd out of 252 holds on something like 75 copies. Ah, hormones.)
