The rest of the Flour Baby Journal

(Day 7 is Sunday. Duh.)

Day 5.

It’s so unfaaaiir!!!!! A whole bunch of my friends got to stop carrying around their
children today, but we have to carry them all weekend!!! NOT COOL!!!! I think we’ve
got the point already, I mean, honestly. I know by now the things are annoying. No
offense, children. But let’s get serious here. I’ve got bruises from carrying my children. It
is icky. Not to mention the fact that they’re both sick now. What’s the chance of that?

But. Um. Tashia carried them for me for a while on the way back home, that was nice of
her. And they’re still really quiet. And... they don’t mind when I complain.

Good kids. Definitely good kids.

Day 6.

Ah, the weekend is here at last.

Went to the library today, that was great. I’ve got a ton of books to look forward to now.
Maxwell took care of the children, I really appreciate that, as they’re kind of
embarrassing, no offense to them.

Well, actually, they’ve been uncharacteristically quiet recently, come to think of it.
Perhaps it’s because they’re sick, you know. That might make sense, the poor things. But
of course they’re passing on tomorrow. Then they won’t have to worry about being sick.

And, well, you know, I’ve been examining my arms, and they really have grown quite
muscly. My hand is a tad bit more veiny than it used to be, I believe. Not sure if this is a
good thing or a bad thing, but it certainly makes my hand look more dashing.

Can’t think of much more to say, must save it for the next entry, as I’m not going to be
doing anything at all tomorrow, to my knowledge, except for reading books. Oh, and
synchronized swimming practice, can’t forget that.

Signing off.

Day 7.

Ah, the last day, hum? Indeed. The twins seem to be having a full recovery, just goes to
show what a good deal of rest can do. I think being hassled all around school made them
a bit dodgy, you see, and I don’t blame them, it happens to me all the time, don’t you
know!

I wonder what they’ll think of being de-clothed and skinned tomorrow. I dare say I
wouldn’t like it, but then again, those two always have liked odd things. I can’t think of
someone I know other than Jade who like goggling at people so much without blinking.
And Meryl, dearest Meryl, I love her with all of my heart, but honestly, what normal
child keeps a hat on all day “just because she’s self-conscious”? I have no idea.

Of course, I love their odd quirks, it’s what makes them interesting. I suppose bags of
flour shouldn’t be interesting, considering you’re supposed to make food out of them and
everything, but I wonder what it would be like if the manufacturer of the things decided
to put personality traits and genomes and phenomes and stuff on all of the bags. I guess it
would be a tad bit tough on ’im, though, to make all of them so different and stuff. He
could probably do it with computer programming, but that would cost a lot, most likely,
and I bet flour manufacturers don’t exactly reel in the dough, if you know what I’m
saying (no pun intended).

I’m still tired. I think I’m going to go to bed now. Have a nice life!
